Why can't i sell my master key? it is bound to my account????

sounds like you bought keys using steam wallet which is a no no thing to do. You have to wait like week before the zen becomes unbound before spending from steam wallet due money transfers between steam and pwi. You should have bought zen directly from pwi.

i now have this issue. ive bought zen (aka steam wallet), to buy master keys threw STO. (the keys are bounded to my account) aka i cant sell and or trade them within STO..

the question's is Now will the keys be unbound for me over time? or should i have waited for the zen to unbounded ?? and or both.??

sadly this is a 2 and a half year old issue (that i was un aware of).

aka how much time am i being forced to wait untill i can sell these keys threw STO ingame trade??(aka how much time will i have to wait)

or should i have waited for the "zen to be cleared before buying the keys" (and if so whats the time frame?) this is a bs major mess.

oh and on a added note the only way to "not" to be locked / suspended / account bounded** $ spent items on STO **Steam wallet** is to buy from www.evolvehq.com client.. now with a added note. when you try to install both of these clients. one will always like to uninstall the other..

so what is my options as of now?? am i now lost out of $ spent threw steam wallet on my account lock keys that i bought threw steam wallet?? keep me posted please ty for you're time..

It's often better to buy keys directly through the PWI website. Far as I know any items purchased before the restriction is removed are permanently bound to your account.

so there for by me buying zen. (aka before i bought my master keys) im stuck with them (keys) on being bounded.. wow this is such bs.. steam should not be allowed to be able to buy zen / items if pwi / evolvehq servers will put a lock on all of this.. imo this is a major let down.. and should not be allowed to be done knowing that anything being sold outside of pwi / evolve false advertising along with false 1 week advertising on being having a chance of getting what we want buying threw steam wallet..

yeah thats what its looking like the only option as of this case at hand. still its missleading for tho's that do not know about this. and or doesnt read these fourms .. so now im stuck with keys i cant do nothing with sep for lock box's ..and most items from lock box's is acct bounded.. and if i buy zen trade for dilth. then resale for zen again can be off set $/ value wise depending on the trade state of the ingame flip rate ..

ah case closed ?? so ah now i cant even sell zen now?? as of what ®ProLeetNoob™ ◔◡◔ has suggested ... even the ? is now solid proof that even this method is now done with.. so let me get this right. buying anything threw steam wallet is now worth nothing in this game threw this community.. zen and or any items?? wow.. ?? really steam?? can i get a mod on this or will be iggy by the mods because it's to much for them to handle,,?? should i give up on steam?? this is really money and time waisting for me to deal with.. and i will spread this threwout the gaming community and on facebook for other communitys too see. im taking screen shots and all.. this is highway robbery at it's worst / best.. i will not let this go untill i get what i payed for.. i have shared this threw facebook and other social media networks untill this is solved.. if not. i will not stop protesting this issue untill i get what i have paid for. and only if so if his happens i will post in all the social media networks that this matter was cleared up and took care of.. till then.. this will reamain here and on other places.. this is really sad that i have to take my own peronal time to fight for what i paid for win or lose. if win ill update this if lose again i will update this.. i work very hard for my money. regardless on where i spend it. i want what i pay for regardless of what's between c.o.'s

Any zen you buy is temporarily bound to your account until the verification period passes. Wait 7-10 days and it'll be unbound (the keys you bought with your bound zen won't be made global though).

This seems wierd because I have recently returned to STO and bought ZEN through Steam and I can sell the keys right away if I want to, not sure why though...

You probably bought Zen way back when then, which made Steam a trusted source of Zen for your account (Hence no probation).

well i waited 5 days sense my last post,.

the zen did unbound. but sadly the keys didnt. so bottom line do "not" buy anything with zen untill it clears..

Unless you're buying something where said binding doesn't matter (like C-store ships).

Couldn't make a new thread? Had to necro a 2+ year old one? Regardless. The first time I ever purchased Zen from Steam I had to wait two week before I could even use it. After an angry rant ticket sent to PWI and a threat of account ban, I finally got it "unbound". Recently, like not more than ~3 months ago, I had $20 on Steam that I had no interest in spending on anything so I figured I'd use it to fill up on some Dilithium. It wasn't bound. Now, I don't know if it's because a restriction was lifted via customer service, or if it only binds the first Steam purchase, but not the ones there after. That said, I would strongly recommend only buying Zen through PWI website if you have the choice.
