Can the Manheim Device allow you to attack 3 times?
I just saw a video of the Mobius Temporal Destroyer using the Manheim Device.
There were 3 of the same ship: the actual ship and 2 of the same ship behind it copying the movements.

My question is if you put some beautiful dual heavy cannons on the front of a Mobius Destroyer and use the Manheim Device whilst firing at a Borg Cube (for example) will you end up firing at the Cube 3 times?

Or, and I won't be surprised if this is true, can you not attack whilst the Manheim device is activated?

I can't find any gameplay of it in combat.

I have the device and can tell you exactly how it works:

- Once activated, it creates a past and a future counterpart of your ship.

- They come with stock antiproton and chroniton weaponry.

- They basicly behave like carrier pets, just minus the commands.

- If a counterpart takes damage, you take that damage as well (with no past, there no future for example)

- If one of them dies, so do you.

So while they do pack a punch and aren't outright that easily destroyed, I don't run them usually. If you just want the device but not the Mobius herself (as in you want the device fo your own Temporal Science vessel), then I would strongly suggest not to pick it up just for that.

In PVE, it can be neat (just be careful in elite content), but in PVP it gets you killed because players (assuming they are smart enough) will target your counterparts and kill them fast resulting in you getting killed.

I was expecting it to do exactly what you do (e.g. fire all dual heavy cannons at Borg Cube) but 2 more times.
That would be overpowered.

It would be, but I think it would be difficult on a technical side to program NPCs that have the exact same setup as your own ship. Their damage is nowhere near yours, unless you run stock weapons yourself.

The game would have to store the path of the main ship, the target, the weapons fired, and the damage dealt.
Then the 2 following ships would just repeat it.
