Standard fare to ramp up interest. Very dry and uninspired formula. Handful of near worthless schwag to amp up local populations to make it appear more poeple are playing than really are.

Too bad I already have the section 31 outfit. I like following ferangi around like I suspect them of something.

I've had a bunch of Epic consoles, ship costumes and formerly cash shop only shuttles as well as minor stuff via their giveaways that I still use (couple I couldn't do without on most of my ships).

Odds are that you'll get something useful on one of the days, unless you already own most of the stuff in the Z-Store already :)

Yeah, I know. I saw all the whining and complaining about the giveaway on the official forums. The thing is, though, is that the whiners are just a tiny fraction of the playerbase so I doubt Cryptic really cares about them at this point.

I know I will. I'm definitely going to keep a look out for all the giveaways this week, see what I can use.

For me presentation means very little from them. Quality of content is everything. Because these 'give aways' are so predictable theres nothing really special about them. All to frequently its clothes, or other minor schwag. Players scream for little things that they have consistantly ignored. Interior ship trophies or decorations being very high on my list. Or specialized ship skins.

I honestly want bugs fixed and poorly optimized missions optimized the way its supposed to be instead of them performing very poorly on lower end hardware over decorations. I have encountered so many poorly optimized system patrols in the delta quadrant its not even funny and to top it off delta fllight, a mission in the iconian war season is so poorly optimized that the level is incompletable due to the input lag. And mind you most other missions in the game perform well on my hardware its just that craptic didnt put in the effort to optimize end game content for lower end hardware

? The first gift was a STARFLEET costume. Again, no costume for kdf or rommies (not that i care, but again, the story repeats itself).

About the ship, i dont know what you talking about.. but if you mean in a general basis, when kdf is left behind, so rommies are. They are a pack. If they release a ship for the kdf, they also release a ship for the rommies. Its have been this way since a long long time ago.

Except for the Romulan Expansion.. I agree on the general failure to evenly release content, or even release focused content for the other factions. Not how I'd run things certainly.
