Memory Alpha?
Where did memory alpha go? I heard you can craft TR-116's now and want to make one. I need to find some crafting stations.

Nevermind I found it - I was looking in the wrong quadrant. I remembered it was north of Sol and was looking in the Beta quadrant. Why is Sol in the Beta quadrant? I thought it was in the Alpha quadrant.

So I found out you can't go to memory alpha anymore. That sucks.

Welcome to the new and improved STO. They riped out Memory Alpha at the same time they riped out the old crafting systems and replaced it with upgrade-a-rama grind-a-liciousness.

Funny I remember one of the most requested features years ago was an improved crafting system. This must have come as a shock.

it was not so bad, and it still is nice. You be able coming for some lvl rather fast with putting your old stock that got exchanged in, should there be any. Still, i think that rifle is a lvl15 recipes, what will definitely take some extended time.
Best thing they ever improved, besides adding Tholian spacecombat to the game.

I still haved a pile of blueprints in my bank. Can I do anything with those?

they should exchange for mats if the rule has not been altered.
i am actually not playing, or i could show you around. But it is all simple and has not changed for only that it might be harder finding a special planet, because there is no identifying theme on spaceregions anymore.
Defera is still Borg groundbattle zone.
New Romulus got some atmospheric stuff.
Dyson has Battle engagement, ground and space unlimited.
what not? guess that's about all so far. PvP is said to be still exesting, even i have not found any going, there is that private room battles.

Blindflashes are still endangering your health.

Improved doesn't mean destroying everything there was and replacing it with something completely different, unless you work for Cryptic.

All of the 'bad' changes to the crafting system are nothing compared to the change of moving the R&D mats to a seperate inventory tab.

That alone makes up for everything else 1000x over.

Edit: Whoops guess this was misinterpreted, I'm saying that the new R&D inventory tab is such a good change that it makes up for the other changes.

I disagree. I paid for extra storage over the years just becuse of this. Changing storage options for matts does not compensate for the elimination of the existing system. We cried for ages to expand that old system, not replace it.

why don't you just delete one of your characters and play again. See if it is still fun.
Seems the idea of purpose is getting lost in your cries when judging a function that is of some use to the playing for fun.
I am not kidding you, i regularly clean my playground and start the game again. Just because i like to play it.

There is nothing 'fresh' and 'entertaining' in STO anymore. Anyone having never seen any of it, or been away for years, may have something left to experience. I have crawled though it all, multiple times. I've no interest in climbing that hill ever again. I did once enjoy STF's and DOff missions and random explring to collect mats that didn't involve having to do another mission, gathing matts was its own non linear never ending mission.

A casual player playing alone in STO is not welcome anymore.

it at least has been fun playing once a while ago.
Maybe they could make up another server or two for newer players so they can play also.
Like having a game at offer that is not casually shut down due to inflation.

So much i comprehend your argue, so little i can say to just delete that content you dislike yet for new servers.
You can still keep it then. |<xOx>| -|o-

Actually this was the BEST thing about the new crafting system.. lol. I will never complain to have more space in my inventory... lol. If they dont add that feature, you will never have enough space for almost anything. I guess you would rather pay thousands of zen to keep increasing your inventory slots?? ow....

No, that's what I meant. Having no inventory space because of all the damn mats was the biggest pain. And yeah, "buy more slots lol" isn't a sensible answer.
