Possible virus embedded in STO.
I"ve been trying to get on line for three days. No luck It took about an Hour and a half (1 1/2) to get the login screen today. Once on the lonig screen I have bee waiting over an Hour to get to the engage button to come up. I checked the My Antivirus software and found that I have be having atacks directed agains my Antivirus software the whole time the attackes are trying to change IP addresses as well. These attacks go back to when I tried to login Yesterday as well.

Its not a virus, or at least, those attacks are coincidental.

STO's network problems are because the ISP that Cryptic uses is having problems.

Its is a malware, I did a full system sweep and found malware stored in the files of the game
the malware attacks my drivers and disk which is hard to counter act but If your able to IP flush your computer then you need to delete all files of the game and local content of it otherwise your computer may be damaged badly

if you cant get past the loading screen. Go to the launcher and click "safe mode". My computer doesnt technically have a graphics card (its dedicated, i should have read the fine print) and it messes up my computer when i go in not in safe mode. And wont let me progress further in the game loading

The game could be technically considered shovelware, but it's no virus.
