April Fools sound effects?

Anyone else getting strange sound effects when navigating in game menus? When I click on buttons and stuff I hear Ping! Bork! Beep! like someone is saying it into a microphone instead of the normal sound effect. Am I tripping balls or is this an April Fools joke or something? It really freaked me out at first.

And at any given time you could have simply disabled it by using the big button on the right side, or permanently disable it in the game's settings.

It dawned on me when playing questioning my own hearing at first. I thought it was hilarious. 😂
I wish they made a vanity shields that applied the sound effects during gameplay.

What I think would be cool is to make another version of it only this time instead of the voices of the developers, make another version using sound effects made by players. It would be cool if they would create an in game event that players can win in for the chance to add their own sound effect to the new version. Then they should add both sound effects options as permanent options.

making it limited was never a good idea, it's one of those features that should be available as optional.
