Ship Equipment Resetting?

I just got my second ship and now I experience this issue when I load into a mission or new zone, the game un-equips some of my ship equipment and puts some random item that says something of the sort that the equipment is on another ship. It's always my front beam, shields and impulse drive.

Anyone have an idea on why that happens and how to fix? Do I have to dry dock the first ship or something?

This game is falling apart with every update.

First some of the missions lighting effects get borked.
Then buildings in some missions just don't show up at all.
Traits reset all the time.
And now this, on top of endless rubberbanding.

try saving your equipment as loadouts
no that won't fix it, it just makes it so you don't have to re-equip your equipment one by one
