So many games take the flak for a problem that they can't do anything about, and connection speeds is the most common one.
And I just noticed that the thread was a year old and had been "necroed"
It could be what the players above have alraedy stated, or it could just be the weather inbetween the sender and reciever towers as the signal gets sent and recieved in the Satallite. Atmospheric pressure changes are an internet nightmare, but we've learnt to adapt the signals to over come them in time. I don't think I've ever seen another mmo that has the problem this bad though, ever :D
Honestly speaking it might not have anything to do with your ISP, or Cryptic's ISP/infrastructure, there are so many varibles that can slow down internet, and the US is kinda infamous for having unreliable ISPs and throttled speeds, it's a wonder it even works.
Edit: just realised how old this thread is, lol people just love to search for (nearly) 2 year old threads to necro.
Take your own advice.
For the same reason you just bumped it again: Because I felt like it.
