Dual Monitor resolution issues
So if you have dual monitors and it is choosing a smaller or less desirable monitor.

Here is the fix for it:
1. After logging into star trek online go to settings and video.
2. In video settings under video card select the monitor you want to use then press apply then ok.
3. After it switches you your more desireable monitor Then you can switch to your resolution whether it be 1920x1080 or higher.

Hope this helps and have fun playing.

Had this problem.....have a widescreen as main monitor set at 1980X1280 and my old smaller 1280X1024 as secondary. But for some reason, whatever I started the gane Sto kept using my smaller old one as monitor no matter the settings when I put the game in my usual Maximized windowed mode and nothing seemed to help(Full screen and windowed worked on both but want to be able to run full screen and watch a movie and such on my secondary).

So only way I can play the way I want, I have to manually turn of the smaller monitor and enter window 10's settings to "turn of" my secondary monitor as extended desktop there....then I can start game in my choosen graphic mode before I have can just turn on my secondary monitor again. VERY annoying.....didn't use to this problem before and only gotten it recently.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
