Looking for Captain Jarol?

I've seen a pending mission to turn in that requires me to see Captain Jarol at Starfleet Academy. To claim the very rare Excomp Duty Officer reward from him. I've searched everywhere at Starfleet Academy for him but can't find him.

if I am not mistaken, the Captain is only present during a special promotion every year, and is otherwise unavailable

you can hold on to the mission and hand it in eventually

I do see the area where I have to go to on the map. Which is where Lieutenant Ferra is, which asks me if I spoken to Captain Jarol. I've seen a few other players running around and I wouldn't be surprised if they're looking for Captain Jarol as well.

Captain Jarol is only available during the event in which the ecomp dof is picked up in.

Unknown. Usually it's once a year so you'll probably have to wait for quite a while.

Junior Officer Appreciation Week Event began in December 2011.

Here is the dates so far:

April 27–30, 2012
March 14–28, 2013
April 10–14, 2014
August 14-18, 2014
August 20-24, 2015

So, you'll notice we had one recently. I'm guessing it'll be at least a few months before the next one.

Captain Jarol is only available during the "Junior Officer Appreciation Weekend" Event. To find out when that is running you need to check your Event Calendar. The next one, as of this post, is August 25 - August 29 2016. He is located at Star Fleet Academy in the same building as Lt. Ferra (located in the upper left corner of the map). Select the mission "Reinforcements" and look at your map.
