Cryptic launcher autoupdate won't download

Does anyone ese have trouble with Cryptic launcher autopdate? It is almost standing still with measly 118.8 md of data to download. I would apreciate any tips

Since yesterday, I haven't been able to connect to the game. The launcher gets stuck in a continuous update loop, with repeated errors. I tried to connect using my Arc, Steam, and Epic accounts, but nothing works. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game not once, but three times, and still, it didn't help. I searched for help online and saw that the same problem occurred about a year ago. Any assistance would be appreciated.

have you tried to start the launcher manually from the folder?

Ok for ANYONE having this problem, here is the fix!!! Download Proton free VPN (or anything similar). Connect to one of the free servers. I got connected to Netherlands free server. The Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate loop stopped and the Launcher finally loaded. Then you can exit the VPN, you'll need to wait for the connection te reestablish, but it should and finish the patching process more quickly than through the VPN. FFS...

Didn't work. Just restarts the loop every time the connection changes.

They may have fixed it (?). I was able to updated normally today.
Didn't try anything fancy.
