Doffs to EC

I have heard of people getting 30 mil+ a day from selling doffs. How do you earn these doffs outside of teh clusters that they are removing soon.

Some people upgrade their Duty Officers to purple then sell them via the Exchange. Upgrading Doffs is a 5 to 1 ratio. ie 5 white for 1 green > 5 green for 1 blue > 5 blues for 1 purple. Its a long process but can net you quite a sum over time. As far as the ones you get from cluster missions, you can still do the missions once clusters go away. You just won't have to zone into the cluster anymore to get the mission chain, You will get them at the borders of the main sector and the old cluster.

BTW, getting 30 mil+ in a day is more of a one time thing. I highly doubt they can repeat that daily. Unless you spend all that EC on blue Doffs to upgrade to purple, and get very lucky with what you get in return.

well C6Tom, idk where u usually get your doffs, but how people make the money off them is collecting uncommon duty officers either by buying them or other means, and then going to the personel officer at Starfleet academy (idk for klingons). There you can trade one uncommon for 3 common quality duty officers which usually sell from 15-40k each and thats how people make money off of duty officers. *I just started this group, looking for members, Interested?*

This, but you would have to be pretty dedicated to make 30m.

You can get lucky on certain missions and get purple doffs that sell for 3-5m. (or more if you get a technician.) But doing the upgrading thing mentioned by Zippeh costs a lot of dilithium, to the point that it would be more profitable to just convert the dilithium to zen and buy a key to sell. The average cost of most purple doffs is only around 1m. (5 blue doffs would be around 750k)
