ok, I've taken a few screenshots, had a mini window open that showed that they were taken, but can't find them anywhere... can someone help plz i'm wanting to link it to a friend on steam chat, but when I clicked the screenshots folder on the overlay all it does is bring up all the various folders on my computer, and no screenshots whatsoever

Did you upload them? If so, then go to your profile, click "Content", then the "Screenshots" tab, open said screenshot, and paste the link into your chat.

alright, Iright clicked on the steam icon, went to screenshots, saved to disk, it uploaded the screenshots, but when I go to settings/screenshot folder, it still brings up the entire listing of every folder and file on my computer and still can't find my STO screenshots anywhere

Did you click on content in your profile and go to your screenshots from there?

Two ways work for me.

Printscreen, which is the in-game way and automatically removes hud elements for "clean" shots. Files saved to \Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Trek Online\Star Trek Online\Live\screenshots

or
F12 which is the Steam way, and will prompt you to save to cloud upon game exit. This will be full capture with hud elements and all.

Was not aware of any bugs on this myself.

I have taken screenshots with the Print Screen key. So I can have screenshots without the hud etc on it.

But today I tried Print Screen key again but when I go into StarTrekOnline/Live/Screenshots area. I don't see my new ones. Only the old previous ones.
