Can you no longer go and sit in your ready room on your ship?

It depends which bridge your ship is using. Some only have the main room. They may have doors but the doors don't open. Check around for an account bank terminal - they usually put those in the ready room when they can, if it's in the main room then it's probably a main room only bridge.

You can change which bridge the ship is using at the ship tailor. They recently unlocked more bridges for various ships (not new ones, but existing ones that previously could not be used on those specific ships that now can).

One interesting wrinkle is that with some "specialty" ships that have their own custom bridge, such as the Ferengi ships, if you have the ship in your roster you can use its bridge on any ship (but you can not use it if you don't have a ship that came with it).

if you're referring to the third paragraph of my post... the source ship does need to actively be in your roster.

Anyone think it's funny when you exit the ship interior and then you see your character beaming out? Like, you're already standing on the bridge and then you beam out...to where? =P
