you have to buy it from the store.
The TOS enterprise specifically (the T6 version) comes in a super expensive aniversary bundle of "legendary" ships that only ever shows up for sale once in a blue moon.

You can also try to get it from those Infinity R&D lootboxes or look it up in the exchange. (If it is there it'll most certainly cost nearly two billion credits)

you can get one on the exchange right now for 1.5 billion EC, (which comes to about 150 dollars at current key prices, or you can wait until the tenth anniversary bundle comes on sale again in a couple months and buy it for about 250 to 300 bucks. The "good stuff" in this game is wretchedly expensive.

There's three different ways.

There's a Tier 1 variant (of similar quality to the starter ship) called the "Constitution Light Cruiser" which can be bought for 15K dilithium, or comes as an account unlock in the "Temporal Agent" bundles (starter pack 2000 zen, or the big bundle at 15000 zen, the difference being more higher level ships). This variant comes with 2 special phaser beam arrays that have the TOS-era sound and art effects (but are statistically identical to a normal craftable phaser beam array, it's just that the default sound and artwork in game are TNG style), and will auto-adjust their mark level to your level until level 50, and can then be freely upgraded to mark 12 and are then further upgradeable. (if you get it as a zen unlock, you have an unlimited supply of these weapons by stripping, dismissing, and reclaiming the ship). These weapons are also portable, and there is also a way to earn them in game (as an episode reward, though that version does not have the auto-adjust feature).

There's also a Tier 6 (endgame level) variant called the Temporal Light Cruiser, which is available as a promo pack ship (single character only, you might also find this for sale on the exchange or claim it as part of your annual campaign reward), and was included as an account unlock in one of the old Mudd's bundles (currently not in the zen store but the old bundles of this type return to the store for a limited time sale about two or three times per year).

Finally, the best version (in my opinion) is the Legendary Miracle Worker Light Cruiser, which is also Tier 6, and is included in the (also limited time) 10th anniversary bundle. (which includes 10 T6 ships that are virtually all screen-canon hero ships... this one, the Enterprise-D, Defiant, Voyager, etc.)

You could have a TOS screen-accurate build that is highly capable at end game by combining either of the Tier 6 variants with the Tier 1's special weapons.

And BTW that "250 or 300 bucks" is a lie. The 10th anniversary bundle's list price is indeed 30000 zen ($300) but it has not been offered at that price in over three years; it's a limited time item and since 2020 it has only ever been in the store when also on sale. The usual sale price when available is around 20000 zen and that translates to 200 dollars - but that's assuming you did not buy the zen during a sale. If you sale-stack, it only actually costs about $160, and in fact it's the *cheapest* way (on a per ship basis) to buy a T6 ship. (yes it's a large price tag, but it's also the only bundle that contains ten T6 ships, other bundles of similar price only have six or seven.)

It's 250 to 300 bucks I just bought it last sale so I should know ROFLMOA!!!

The post over mine is obsolete and out dated. So many people haunt the forums but don't play the game anymore. All their information is 10 years out of date. I put on 2500 hours this year alone. Not something I should probably brag about, but in this case, I'm gonna. LOL

If you ONLY care about the TOS enterprise, yes.

You CAN grind the yearly event and get the temporal light cruiser from the "choice T6 prize pack" thingy but that'll take until early december if you're up to date on the events.

There are other ships with TOS skins (the "temporal" ships) that will cost you a lot less (the usual T6 price + a couple thousand dilithium for the TOS skin at any shipyard)

Please stop this nonsense about people "haunting the forums with out of date info and not playing anymore" unless you can name names of who you are talking about who is actually like that. I play every day, I'm pretty sure Voodoo does too, and we're the ones you keep trying to smear with that lie. I don't know exactly how many hours this year because I don't remember what I had in January and I don't know how to look it up. But my total hours (including times I logged in via Arc instead of Steam) is well over 10K.

And in the mean time do some research and some math. What I said in that post is completely accurate. If you paid more than 20K zen, and it wasn't during the two weeks in 2020 immediately after the release sale expired when the bundle was actually sold at list price (source: stowiki), it's because you bought the premium version of the bundle which has extra throwins, but they are all non-ship items.

Also: "All their information is 10 years out of date."? Really. Every single T6 ship in the game is less than ten years old, and the 10th anniversary bundle is only four years old. So if that were true, how would I have any information on them AT ALL?

Actually, no. You can continue to earn campaign progress during the extra days after completing the event project, and by doing so you can complete the campaign in 4 events. I'm currently on track to do that. (Actually, I managed to get 4 extra days' worth of progress, even beyond that, due to clock management during the first two events... so I won't even need all of event #4.)

I have absolute confidence that you paid that much but what was being said was that you can pay less than that. It takes no special talent to get a bad deal and to overpay for something.

Your inability to understand a post does not make it "obsolete and outdated" (two terms that mean the same thing). It does, however, speak to your comprehension level.

The 10th Anniversary bundle only shows up on the ZEN store on rare occasion, and when it does it is always part of some sort of bundle sale and thus never at its original, full ZEN price. If you know you're going to be buying a particularly expensive bundle on the ZEN store then you wait for a ZEN bonus sale - doing so gets you more ZEN for less actual money. Combined, those two things put the minimum costs of the 10th anniversary bundle well under your quoted price.

Can you still spend more than you need to? Absolutely! If you're someone with no ability to plan ahead and you're prone to impulse buys then it is always easy to burn cash.

Well if you just want a TOS themed ship and not a Constitution class specifically there's a few original TOS era ships in the shipyard.

it cost me about $350 USD for the 10th anniversary bundle pack and that's after the sales taxes for the state of new jersey where for every $5 spent it's 33 cents sales taxes...

I'm not sure how you managed it.

The typical sale price for the 10th anniversary ships bundle is 19500 ZEN, which is 35% off the full price of 30000 ZEN. It costs $200 USD to get 23000 ZEN when there isn't a ZEN bonus on. If you decide to mix-and-match ZEN purchases you can get it down to $190 by getting $100 + $50 + $20 + $20 of ZEN for a total of 20300 ZEN instead.

When there is a ZEN charge bonus on, you can do a similar mix-and-match with the $100 + $50 + $10 for a total of exactly 19500 ZEN, making it a total cost of $160.

Sure, there's tax, but not THAT much tax.

If you're going for the "premium" bundle rather than the basic bundle then.... well... you're making a silly purchase given the bundled stuff is mostly trash for the cost, but even then the cost is not going to total $350 USD.

Typical sale price of the premium bundle is 29250 ZEN, which in undiscounted ZEN is going to cost you about $260... which is $200 + $50 + $10 zen packages. During a ZEN charge bonus, it drops to $220 worth of packages.

So, in summary:

No ZEN Bonus: Basic = $190, Premium = $260
ZEN Charge Bonus: Basic = $160, Premium = $220

There is no sane reason to buy the premium bundle, which is why they've stopped giving us the option of basic bundles as they release new ships. They pad their bundles with garbage to inflate the prices, and we can't avoid the garbage anymore.

Well, if he's started playing already, then just completing the annual campaign event would allow him to get the T6 Temporal Light Cruiser version as part of the annual campaign reward. We're a few days past the point of being able to complete the campaign *for free* if he doesn't already have some progress, but if he starts working on campaign progress this week, he could still finish it if he plays the event every day and does one event buyout (which will cost about 2500 zen, which could be farmed as 1.25 million dilithium, or will cost roughly $20 in the next zen sale).
