i already knew there is a downtime today but i think they should finally decide when they do one , last time it was tuesday , then thursday (whatever it is in written form) or in the middle of the week

At least there is a message. I've been playing World of Tanks, where they don't announce maintenance times at all. You'll just be playing, and all the sudden the server cuts out.

STO likes to put up a simple green light to show its ready.

Then a tiny set of words telling you times its planning on patching.

Forums inevitably fillup with messages, muh game no work cannot log in etc etc etc.

Its almost like real world parking lots. People dont see the signs.

I had zero problems this week generally got the daily log in done in a few minutes about 3 am my time which is like after midnight server time on the west coast. It patched at noon today without trouble..
