Agreed with everything else Captain Trump said though. STO definitely feels like it's on a downward slant for the past couple of years now.
They DO do it "in the morning". They're California-based, and in that time zone it's from 7-10 AM. That way they have the rest of their working day to make any emergency fixes.
It just happens that works out to being "prime time" in certain other time zones.
lol
what do you think downtime is for?
When its time to get something important done fast its usually a thousand miles until sunrise delivery and we are late already, get going for the night is nigh.
I dont even worry about the maintenance times. Its part of Internet and modern computers such as they are.
Yesterday at 4 my time Steam went down as usual and the various downdetector sites along with live tracking sites lit up with thousands of people unable to log in (Including myself) for a few minutes. It was not necessarily the down time but the no notice or banners made.
They came back up in a few minutes. So tuesdays will be considered a trouble fix it day and they will do it again next tuesday. No problem.
