If you're looking for Cardassian ships then the Ghemor might interest you.
Not quite a Galor, but in the C-store for 3k Zen: https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Cardassian_Ghemor_Intel_Flight_Deck_Carrier
I have no doubt others here will tell you good ways to farm EC, so I'll leave that to them.
Do you have any experience with the Ghemor or is it just a reccomendation based on design?
Are the yukawa frigates good pets? i have a positive opinion of the hideki class so an upgraded version must be nice but i never really see anyone play cardassian ships.
3000 zen is quite alot of money for something that is comparable to a dream ship that i find irresistable.
if you have personal experience with it i would gladly hear about it. or any other reccomendations.
Well, it's a pre-T6 4/4 cruiser and that's kinda it. It predates things like specialisation seating so it's kinda meh. It does unlock the spiral wave weapons in the dil store though, which is why it still commands a high price.
There are a few equivalents. ImperatorPavel already mentioned the Ghemor but there is the Damar (Zen Store):
https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Cardassian_Damar_Intel_Science_Dreadnought
and the Keldon (Lockbox/Lobi);
https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Cardassian_Keldon_Cruiser
Unfortunately if you don't like intel then you're a bit stuck as that seems to be the theme with the T6 Cardassian ships.
The new event should launch in February but if you're grinding the ship you won't be done until the end of the year.
There is a pack in the zen store called "Cardassian Intel Bundle" which grants you three T6 Cardassian ships (all the Intel variants, which I can't reccomend enough since those are awesome ships) *and* a T5 Cardassian Galor Cruiser.
Furthermore those ships are account unlocked meaning you will be able to reclaim them on other characters in the future as well.
All for the low price of 6k zen (which means you get a T6 and the T5 for free, at the price of T6 ships). If you can wait until a big discount hits it will be even cheaper.
There's also a bigger bundle, the Gamma expansion bundle, which includes those, the first four Jem'Hadar Vanguard ships, and two other Tier 5 ships, as well as exclusive access to the three Jem'Hadar Vanguard BOFFs and some other goodies.
As for the event campaign question... last year it was 5 21-day events spaced out between February and November, with a total of 105 active days and needing 70 daily progress to complete the campaign reward project (each of the events also has a 14-day reward project of its own). 2020 and 2021 had the same, so it does seem to be a pattern, but there has not yet been any announcements about it officially. (The first campaign, in 2019, had slightly different numbers as there was only 4 events.)
