uninstalling star trek online

What did you already tried to unistall it?

ya i did but the folder and game are still installed its a big folder about 10 gb tried reinstalling it and using the add remove program and that didn't work tried using the arc installer and it could not even find it so i finally just delted the folder from steamapps but now i am worried that i mite have messed up steam

If you deleted this folder x:\<wherever>\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Trek Online\ you're ok.

yeah something about uninstalling via steam doesn't work with STO. As Vallari stated just delete the folder and it should be ok.

Why would you? Is it still in the Library list?
If not, then there is no problem.

Also, it sounds like there where still the test server files present (if you ever used Redshirt or Tribble, that is), maybe. Steam only uninstalls the base game, I assume. It leaves folders all the time anyway, but in this case it may have something to do with that.

But yeah, you should be fine.

Steam only manages it. The program does all the work of installing and managing it. If you deleted it and it's still in Steam, it's ok. Steam is like a stupid rabbit. You put a carrot in front of it and it ignores it but when you remove the carrot when it rots it be like "werd'it goo? Ah ner is her sermwer!"
