DPS type (tactical) will naturally get through enemies the fastest, if that is what you are asking.
Pros
-Good dps all the time
-Simple and easy to learn for new players
-Both reputation and ships on the game cater to this kind of gameplay
Cons
-You provide buffs to the group but cannot stand alone on a fight-"ground combat"
-Given the simplicity of the class you will never learn anything beyond dps dps dps
-The 99% of players play this class and with the same mentality like AbsynthMinded ends being the worst players on the game.
-You are disposable since everyone is playing the same class is easy to replace you.
Engineer
Pros
-The Tank class
-You learn how ships mechanics works and what can break them
-You are one woman army on the ground deploying dps turrets, shields, medical turrets
-You can take the title Undying to a whole new level
Cons
-Unlike the others classes your damage comes from your gear and emergency powers
Science
Pros
-Player killer on pvp
-Unlike the dps class you end up becoming a better player given how much this class counter everyone
-Highest shield on the game
-You are the best healer on the game
-Your dps comes from auxiliary rather than weapons power
-A solution for every problem
Cons
-Lack of ships if you are not the federation
-High skill ceiling and time consuming both on gear and resources
-Given the way science works you are slow to become powerful until late on the game
-The younger player base is full of people like AbsynthMinded so only veterans can see you not only for what your class is but what is going to become
-Weak hulls on ships
-Easy to get frustrated when you have a company who is only focused on the easy path to develop content
-You are a reverse sword we means your damage takes time to set on content who requires speed
This. This is all true.
This guy has the reading comprehension of a wild boar wearing broken sunglasses. It clearly says (4 lines above his post) play "veteran" not "elite". We all know who NOT to listen to.
Thanks for the help, I'll probably end up playing them all if i have the time.
