Still can't complete the tholian captain endeavor

I've complete transdimentional [sic] tactics four times so far without getting the endeavor.

I know this is a known... bug? garbage design? whatever it is, I just wanted to complain.

You have to do more damage than your teammates on the Boss. The Endeavor is Not Participation. Make a build for your captain that can do damage above all else and stick with hitting the boss when it appears third time. If you have to, get a private group together and launch that TFO, take turns doing more damage.

That can't be right, I've never once not gotten credit for killing it after completing that mission. I do think there's probably a certain minimum damage contribution requirement though.

My strategy was to play as an engineer, drop a phaser turret right where the captain spawns (the upper platform), and stick around to refresh it.

Also make sure you do the TFO on normal difficulty, not advanced. Sometimes that matters.

use an alt that has ♥♥♥♥ tonnes of aoe damage and dont spam them until his health is low
