They fill my playstyle requirements, and meet said requirements with what i have equipped on them...
But then maybe the D9 or the Mat'Ha might be if i get around to taking them out of dock...
The answer though would be whatever T6 you do the best in... as for Speed, toughness, and weapons.. Well that comes to what you equip your ship with..
I would suggest that you read over the info in the link below..
https://www.reddit.com/r/stobuilds/wiki/index#wiki_build_anatomy
Now, if you could share some more information, such as preferred play style, how comfortable you are with maneuvering in STO's space combat, and which faction you are, that'd let people gauge which ship might be best for you as opposed to somebody else, and you might get some legitimately helpful suggestions.
This. I like the cardassian science dreadnought, the jem'hadar vangard cruiser, and the S'torr but none of those ships are the best ship. As Arkady said, you'll need to post more about what you're looking for.
Type of ship (escort, cruiser, science vessel), plus some of the stats you're looking for is pretty much the minimum.
It's my favorite, but I like flying around PvE in my own personal fleet laying waste to everything around me. It's awful in PvP, though.
Uh...you want an "In win!" button?
The Crossfield I guess but the better answer is figure out what you are trying to do compare consoles, weapons layout, and innates and go zap things.
I find the ship has a lot to do with overall performance... specifically the console and seating layouts (including placement and type of hybrid seating in t6 ships) as well as the special mechanics associated with ship "type" that you mentioned (such as pilot maneuvers).
While gear and boffs will fill in the slots, they need the right slots to fill to create the performance you're going for, and not all ships provide it to the same degree. All science ships are similar, but there's a reason the Eternal is generally considered the best of 'em (two temporal hybrid seats, molecular reconstruction for the support config's exotic buffs, etc).
There often is a "best ship" but only if you can declare specifically what you're looking for a ship to do. The clearer your vision for its performance and overall capabilities, the easier it is to match you up with your future spaceship BFF.
The "What's the best T6 ship?" is in itself an incomplete question that requires proper context to answered.. Meaning the best at what? Best at Tanking damage? Dealing damage? Most maneuverable? etc etc etc.. Each of those will have a different answer even if you take the out of box stock version or an unlimited EC budget build version...
best ship is one you like/want to fly , if you care about preformance , you will never find best build , they relese new ships every now and then , new perks apear , new consoles from events
it is not possible in any form to find "best" ship preformance wise becouse you also need to factor your character perks , traits , specialisation , race , AND class (also bridge officers passives)
but also your preformance , just becouse this guy who has crazy skill rotation on his ship does 75k dps , dont means you with slower refles will reach 60k or 45k
Go for one you like looks of , i got Jam'hadar dread carrier , its pretty ship.
Gasp!
You mean this Uber ship isn't the best T6 Ship?

Im sorry. This is 200% WRONG. you might want to look at sci dps from a temporal sci sci or the sci raider and compare that to your T5 ship...
Name three.
