Ultra rare (maybe.. 1% chance?) drop from the Discovery Lockbox, or an equally rare (but generally more expensive) drop from R&D/Doff promo packs for the mirror universe equivalent.
Alternately, around 500M for the crossfield or 1B for the mirror crossfield on the exchange.
Be careful that you don't buy the KDF equipment box thinking you see a good deal on the ship.
What is EC?
Im new to this game so i still have a lot to learn
EC is the ingame credits. Mostly used to buy stuff on the exchange.
Dilithium is the ingame main resource needed for, well, mostly everything.
ZEN is the hard currency You either use real money to get, or by converting dilithium into ZEN. (The free way, that 'only' cost time).
To get these ships, that comes by a freaking miracle through lockboxes, is better to buy from the exchange eventhough the prices might seem unattainable...
Other ships can be gotten through either the Store for Zen (either bought or converted from dil), and some variants comes from your fleet (aka. guild in other games), for a currency of its own called fleetcredits.

the crossfield class (discovery ship) was inside a lockbox (gamble, lootcrate, whatever you wanna call em).
you can, however, get the ship from the exchange (auction house) for energy credits (EC, currency from missions or selling to vendors etc).
or you can buy master keys (for opening those lockboxes) with your real life hard earned cash from the zen store, or via dillithium exchange that you can earn 8.000 per day per charackter.
mind, this will take a long long time as a new player.
theres not really an "easy" way of earning anything here. look for a fleet, and do content, and you can at least get a wonderfull fleet ship thats really good.
that would be the first thing to do to be honest. once you have a decent t6 ship and gear, THEN you should start making the money to get those lootbox ships you like.
or spend cash €
The exchange is in any social hub (Earth Space Dock, etc). Do note that if you intend to grind out the ship you will need the EC cap increase from the C-store. You can trade dilithium for Zen for that though.
the Social Hub in the Dock ill work that out somehow.
Also the Dyson space playground with visiting the ground Ops command center to sell off and then pop back up into the space to kill any Red blimp on the mini map once you have the MK leveled gear & ship that can handle fighting Voth ships...
But for crafting you just need a Mk ii item (in demand by players is isn't being flooded with low listings) and Omega Tech upgrade + 2x quality chance acc

Weapons that seem to sell the best atm, are the Linked Phasers/Disruptors DHC & Beams from the Terran and Disco weapon boxes, as well as Pulse Phaser Cannons from the undiscovered weapon boxes... The OCD DPS crazy players will pay top EC for ones with the right stats (CritD and Pen stats mainly)

Visiting your fleet's Research lab every day is key for getting R&D schools to 15+... both for the every 20 hours 6k XP in the field you pick, and for the R&D XP bonus pool from the other NPC in the same room... Plus at level 15 in R&D beam or cannon you gain a personal ship trait giving you a bonus damage with those weapon types (when slotted)...
