I've literally tried this about 15 times, now I just skip the whole mission.
Watched some guy on Youtube do it in one take and with no problem... that was salt in the wound! Yes, I suck.
You're having problems with that mission of all things?
Firstly...they aren't hard to target.
Secondly...you have enough time to target them before they repair it all (Usually they only send one)
Thirdly........do you have torpedos? Two of those do the trick.
Any player going in without torpedos or at least a high damage kinetic weapon surely has had a blow to the head.
Even if it's just a photon torpedo...even better if it is as they have the greatest reload time of any "torpedo" weapon I've seen.
I just like stressing that little fact...I tend to use torpedos much more than most people do xD
Torpedos to me seem more effective thaan energy weapons in most aspects not including accuracy and attack speed...apart from that they can effectivly deal with ships that have overly strong shields...admittedly with "bug bites" but they do far better than other weapons...and they can be "upgraded" to deaal with cloaked enemies in certaain situations.
Anyway, I've said my 2 cents lol
Its not easy to target - the camera whirls around, it seems to auto target whatever it feels like and I either hit TAB like crazy in the hope that it hits a worker bee or while the camera is whirling about i try to manually click on one.
I can get up to where they send 3 worker bees (who said they only usually send one? Have you played this mission? :P ) and then its over, by the time I have killed two the third one has fixed the sensor point and its back to the beginning.....
over and over and over and over again.
Like I said, I just skip it now - though I would have liked to have gotten the Jem Hadar gear the mission hands out!
Yes, I probably just do suck...
but i f***ing hate this mission.
(And the beams...would it kill them to make the effect smaller?)
