How to Level Up Diplomacy

Greetings,

I was wondering is there any quicker way to level up Diplomacy other than DOFF missions? Right now I am level 2 of Diplomacy and feel like it will take an eternity to max level. I read somewhere that you could get missions from a dude named Jiro Sugihara at ESD but he's not offering anything to me :(

On the same note, any other way to level up the other commendations other than DOFF?

There are some regular missions that will give Diplomacy, though in laughable amounts (e.g. Of Bajor), plus some fairly hidden missions that give a meagre 100 or so (e.g. on Vulcan, in Starbase 39).

Really, it's all about boff assignments. You need to look in the right places, which mostly means the Alpha Quadrant. Seriously. That bottom 4 lines of sectors will generally have a few Diplomacy missions for the current map, plus some more with your First Officer. This is where you grind that commendation.

I don't recall having seen any other commendation points from regular missions, though for all I know, there might be super secret mostly pointless minor gain missions hidden in strange places like there are for Diplomacy.

I'm afraid you'll just have to DOFF your way up, my friend.

Search sectors for assignments, check nebulas and expanses, don't forget those valuable colonists and/or prisoners! Check in (battle)zones like Dyson or New Romulus, visit your ship's bridge to contact your officers from there and regularly check your DOFF Department Heads for more assignments.

There's also the DOFFJOBS channel but I'm not sure if it's still used a lot.

Actually, there is one mission that's somewhat relevant to doffing: the Tour the Galaxy daily. At levels 50+, when you can actually manage to reach a decent number of systems per run, that should yield a couple of hundred Exploration and Trade XP per run. Still not super awesome, but definitely a booster for what tend to be two of the harder to complete commendations.
