how to put crew on ship

so for the last few ships i have got theres allways a free spot or two and for the life of me i got no ider how to put a crew mate to seid spot. i have been getting new crew from quests from time to time and have been picking ones that should be able to go in the slot needed...

i have tryed looking around online but i cant find any info. im prob missing somthing thats right infrount of me

You have to go to the "Stations" top tab of your ship information page in order to select bridge officers for your various bridge officer seats, as well as their abilities.

been there before, just disnt give me anymore crew to put in seid spots. i know i have got new crewmates that can go in seid spots (well, i think i do)

do i need to do anything to the new crew or are they the wrong type of crewmates (like i need to go buy the crew)

If you haven't comissioned any new bridge officers, then there won't be any available. Screenshots of your stations screen would be helpful, since I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out what you actually mean.

how do you comissioned new bridge officers?


edit: it also seems that anytime i get a new cew they try and go to my shuttle and not my ship....

If you get a new bridge officer they should pop up asking if you want them to join your crew.

If you don't do that, then they should appear as either an inventory item with a generic Starfleet symbol and rarity, or your Bridge Officer Candidate Roster, which is a button at the bottom of the Stations screen.

I have the same issue. I bring up the stations screen, it shows I have an open Engineer slot. There are 3 candidates available. I select the engineer and click the commission button. It tells me there is no room for a new bridge officer.

What am I missing?

NVM, I just figured it out. I had two tactical officers. I discharged him and I was able to bring on the Engineer.

ahh, i think this was my problem aswell. when i get on ill see

they really did drop the ball in telling new players how stuff works...
