Any workaround for "A Step Between Stars/Into The Void"
The third wave of Voth gets trapped behind the security door so cannot be cleared. Tried three times so far and same bug blocks progression. Cryptic has very helpfully removed the "Report A Bug" button to prevent customer service so is there any workaround for this?

just go to the arcgames page and go to customer support you can report a bug there also you can report it in the forums on the arcgames page for STO
Bring engineers with quantum torpedo mortars (or any mortar-type weapon), they can hit targets stuck outside the map and behind walls.

However if you need that door to be open at some point, yeah, just fill in a bug report (the way bruceusa2086 mentioned) and hope you don't get a new lootbox as a reply.

The bug report button was not removed, only renamed.

solid advice in general, but it doesn't work for "a step between stars" as you don't bring boffs with you
it is possible, with a bit of trickery (made a whole lot easier if you're playing eng) to forcibly shove tuvok through the door and let him kill the voth commander, but it's about as unreliable as that mission is

it's probably easier to just drop the mission entirely (in its totality) and restart it from zero, and then hope and pray that it works next time

Oh... its that mission, my bad.
Haven't played any mission in a good while.

I refuse to play any of the missions because of the bugs and other issues in the game. Now I notice if you warp to Azura Nebula and try to goto New Romulus it won't even take you there if you double click on New Romulus on the map. It took me in the opposite direction.

I played through A Step Between Stars with a newer captain yesterday, and had No Problem finishing it.

You can report the mission bug using Character > pull down to Mission.

-----------------
- If you are in any instance mission and think you have a Bug stopping you from completing that mission, try the following tips:

1. Read the mission details and the tasker for directions and important information that you might be missing. Check the STO forum and wiki and google for a walkthrough of that mission to determine if you are not doing the mission correctly. Check the bug forum and google for a workaround or if it is known bug.
2. Beam out of mission, then continue the mission at the place you come back to.
3. Beam out of mission, Drop that mission, pick that mission and try again.
4. Beam out of the mission, log off of STO then log back into STO, then continue that mission.
5. Exit game after beaming/warping out then exit game, change the options to Patch on demand, and then hit Verify game files. Once finished, log back in, and run the mission again.
6. Try rebooting computer and router at this point. Many problems like this with the game stem from poor or faulty Network connection between your computer and the game servers. Check and troubleshoot your network connection to the game servers.
7. Report the problem in a bug report. Beam out of mission, Skip that mission if it is in a chain. Try that mission again in a month or two. Report the problem in a bug report again.

That bugs me too clicking fleet dilithium mine from Vlugta it wants to go the wrong way. There was another of the missions if you transwarp there from the wrong side you arrive within the boundary of the sun and can't fly anywhere and have to wait for transwarp to recharge.

The Pahvo Crystal kit could possibly be used as a mortar substitute for tac and sci players who can't use the actual mortars.

The commanders got stuck behind the doors 3 out of 4 times. I gave up on getting all the suits.

i finished dyson & delta last week with one of my delta recruits, and had no issue with that mission.
i did have an enemy probe in "delta flight" (iconian war) stuck in one of the asteroid floating around the battlefield. restarting the mission was the only solution.

cryptic is notorious with clipping errors when it comes to monster spawns.
in neverwinter, during the master expedition times, there was always one spawn in one particular expedition that spawned inside a wall.
and one enemy stuck inside a portal in another expedition.
you basically had to bring some aoe artifacts (basically kit powers) that can hit trough walls to get around it.

They used to run high speed tape through the early computers at 60 mph or so.

Occasionally a actual bug will get on the paper and across the reader body and all. What a mess.

it is a shame but having boffs and such with mortars is a must when you play through story missions , enemies are always getting stuck behind things.
