is there a way to set space and ground abilities to happen automatically ? and how do you do that on an xbox controller on a laptop like to configure my abilites in game on my controller to happen on its own instead of doing it manually

You could use emulator type program like JoyToKey which allows you program the different functions of a Playstation or Xbox controller, or other Input devices to be mapped to a Keyboard key or key combination...

An example: Map bind the Square button on a PS4 controller that when pressed, triggers the Keyboard "Space Bar" key..

As for things being auto triggered, you can right click on thing on your toolbar and you then see a green border around it which means it's set to auto (also have to have it set in the game settings)... I don't know if you can set abilities to auto use or not though cause I like play the game and I time the use of my abilities and Kit Modules.. But anything more than that, then you'd entering scripting territory which I do believe will get you a visit from the Ban Hammer..
