Tips on getting the vengeance-class dreadnought

Any tips on getting the vengeance-class dreadnought (or Kelvin Timeline Intel Dreadnought Cruiser as the game likes to call it)? What's the easiest/fastest way to get it? IMHO it's one of the coolest vessels in star trek, and since I don't think anybody would give one to me and I think even asking would be a little rude I'd like to know the best way to obtain it. I'm not going to open lock boxes. you get minimum of 4 crystals from each, so with bad luck the price can get up to
2 250 € where I live.

Don't listen to people saying not to spend a cent on the game, if you enjoy it spend some money, it doesnt hurt to support a game you enjoy instead of being a leech.

Best way to do it is to sub first, get your 500 zen and hold onto it till the sub runs out and get the EC cap increase then while you are subbed level some toons you might want as you will get free retrain tokens every rank increase as well as an increase BOff limit and inventory size for all your toons, After the sub runs out you get to keep all these things so its good to sub at least once.

Otherwise checkout the tour of the galaxy thing you can get some decentish ec via that, but it will help if you have a fast ship with Borg engines. I have heard the Tal Shiar Adapted Destroyer is one of the better ships to do it with, but I haven't done it my self.

I already bought the increased cap, you CAN'T get the ship withput it

You see, its possible... and not only that, strongly recommended. some of you just dont have a clue how to play a mmorpg game without spending money, for watever reason. And this is the main problem of this game. People buying everything without even thinking.

And sure, buying keys and selling em is the fastest way. Also the more expensive one. If you are smart you will never ever invest any money on this game. But i know, most players are kids, so, its too much to ask, i know that.

If you have been playing it for as long as 5 years then you should spend some money, I'm not saying you cant get anything without it but if you enjoy something you should pay for it otherwise you are just a leech. Its besides the point, the OP just wants to know how to get some decent EC to get some stuff, no point turning this into a discussion about anything else.

well, if nobody bought anything ever, you'd lose you're favorite forum, as the game would disapear. Somebody's gotta pay the bills, MMO's aren't cheap. Personally I buy zen from time to time, as I don't have the time to grind for it.

They need the F2P players so the servers aren't empty for the people paying to keep the servers running.

Okay, okay, I've got this one... Pay $20.00 to get 2,000 Zen, then buy keys with it. as many as you can. then go to the exchange and sell 10 keys for 4,000,000 (million) EC and then go to the ship store and buy it. Nothing is faster.

if you like, but keys are more like 5.7mil each and there is a sale coming on black friday so everyone should wait then hold onto keys till they are worth more.

ahem. Yes, by now, you know that the only way to get this ship is with 900 lobi crystals. Not with Zen and not with EC, and it cannot be bought on the Exchange, it's a lie. You will find much information here, and like Fox News, they report, you decide.

You have me interested in the thing now, and the only way to get it is to open about 45 Kelvin Timeline Boxes, or any box and you get lobi crystals some more than others, but if you open about 45 to 50 you will get enough to buy the ship. Its the fastest way. Or play the missions that reward the crystals.

Yes they go for 5.7 mil on the exchange, but you will never be able to sell one key at that price. That's the selling price. The vendor must make a profit or it's not a worthy exchange. Damn the economy!!!

Convert Dil to Zen > Buy Keys > Sell keys for EC > Buy the ship.

The easiest path to take if you don't want to spend real money.

Dont ever read anything from C. Ricco.. its an advise :s he usually dont have any idea about anything at all about the game.

There are tons of kelvin dreadnoughs on the exchange for sell. And they are pretty cheap. The only case where you would not be able to see it on exchange is if the price is over 500 million EC (i think that is the maximum price of any item). But its not the case, since kelvin dreadnoughts are being sold for less than that the last time i checked.

265 million to be exact when i last checked. Why does C. Ricco even write if he doesn't know anything? Is he just a troll?
