Yes it is worth it. You will, in fact, get a couple of epic ships for free during the story campaign. Also, save all the ships you get until you reach level 52 as anything in a ship slot or drydock at that time will become part of your fleet for free, including small craft like shuttles. Any ship acquired after that time will also be added.

Also, if you see the ship Sally Ride in the Beta quad, hail it. :)

Pretty much whatever you can complete in an MMO you should do it.
Do the world tour or whatever they are called for each of the factions. (The main admiralty mission 1/10)
You can get some good ones via the phoenix lock box under rare rewards, i believe. The phoenix lock box will be free now on Drozana station while the event is going on. Otherwise it costs 4.5k Dil

I do have 2 65s, just never really understood the system, or which ones were best, and which ones were meh...

The main one?

Yes, the main Admiralty missions have 10 steps. Each of the factions that you see listed in your admiralty screen will have this; so, one for the Klingons, one for the Federation and so on. When you see it, it will tell you what step you are on, so you'll see the first one as 1/10; meaning the first of ten steps.

As one might expect, the higher level the ship, the better will be the Admiralty stats. A T6 Kor BOP will be much better than the low-level B'rel, for example. Also, ships will tend to favor the stats that you would expect; cruisers have engineering, science ships favor science stats and tactical ships favor tac. Some ships try to be jack-of all trades, others are more specialized. Just acquire all of the ships that you can. Sometimes you may go for a specific ship because your overall fleet needs a boost in one of those areas; usually that is the decision to make, not what's is 'best' the way you are thinking of it. You might not think that a lowly shuttle would be any good, but most of them will boost your stats or give you a better chance for a critical success.

I really don't think there's a 'best' one. I've completed the Fed, Rom and Fergeni one's and am close to completing the Klingon one. All give you dil and ships, so just do them in whatever order you want.

I did accidently click on the finished Rom one and restarted it. I got the lvl 1 dil, but I'm not sure how it handles the ships at the end if I decided to finish it again.

How many levels until each are finished?
NavFamG Feb 4, 2021 @ 3:44pm
Ten, then it starts over.

you do not get ships but admirality cards of ships

1) Yes, and personally, It's my main activity nowadays, because it gives more than 8k dil per day among other stuff.

2) The goal is to run as many tour of duty assignments as possible. In my case, the priority is Ferengi (40.000 dil at each 10/10), Klingons (40.000 fleet dil), Fed (spec points or ~8000 dil at 10/10 if you've leveled up all specs), and then Romulans (not really worth it compared to phoenix upgrades, but if you managed to launch the previous ones, then okay)
3) You can easily get a fleet of ~50 ships to run admiralty assignments, just not all tier-6. But for the start, it will suffice.
3.1 free epic cards Pastak, Sally Ride, 4 for leveling up admiralty, events.
3.2 good epic cards are in the phoenix store. easily obtainable.
3.3 There are a lot of cheap tier-5 ships on the exchange good enough for the admiralty. 2-4m each. Basically, spend 100-150m EC and your admiralty fleet is ready.
3.4 if not enough, buy dilithium ships from the shipyard. Don't forget the shuttles, they serve as a free pass token for short missions to get to ToD assignment faster. Some of them have "+10 all stats per any ship", which basically makes this shuttle a 20/20/20 ship with a 5m cooldown.

Which ships can be used? The onrs in starship selection, in dry dock, or both?

When you get a ship to your starship selection (buy, unpack, or any other way), you'll get an admiralty card along with it. You might need to beam out and open the admiralty window for it to appear. Sometimes you can receive a card automatically.
As soon as you'll see the ship in your Admiralty roster, you can trash the ship from your ship selection screen, it will remain in admiralty. So no need to buy slots for this. Just make sure it's in admiralty roster before deleting.

If you need some good ships you can try the phoenix box. All are excellent. Also run Temporal Ambassador mission. It rewards a T3 ship which will show up as an Admiralty card.

used to be more worth it ..t hey nerfed the F.. out of the reward system ... apparently logginin every day for 20 hour cool downs .... was cheating
same with Omega... years long tradition and they made it non trade-able now
