So either another bug or it reads wrong.
The BoP account unlock is the listed reward for spending 15 spec points on your Klingon Recruit.
By first attempt with a DSC klingon didn't get beyond the first few starfleet npcs you fight on the BoP in tutorial because there item that should drop never did and i got trapped. So after several reloads i decided to throw it overboard and start over.
So i'm passed the tutorial on another DSC Klingon and opening campaign and a few missions into Warzone. Executed several Klingon aligned fools, over 100 bat'leth kills and no ambush killed even though i know i had taken a few (but i already know that others have reported on it elsewhere). I'm having real trouble trying to kill targets at melee range as they keep pulling back reducing the kill count on melee to teammates and their ranged attacks.
Another issue is the new upgrade to the Klingon storyline, specifically confronting Tarsen on Forcas III after he completes his mission, man his plasma grenade is unbalanced and the amount of Klingons and Romulans in one place means you'll be dying quite a bit until you kill the Klingons and Romulans around Tarsen first and hope the plasma grenade doesn't land in your area before you can react.
The ground portion of House Martok's manor is glitched a bit, not everything is showing around the I.K.S. Rotarran and when you are moving around bits and pieces start showing and other bits and pieces disappear. a force verification did nothing and it seems the files are fine. Might be an object limit in the game engine or something of the sorts? no idea.
The BoP advertised as being unlocked the M'chla, it isn't what is being unlocked from what i can tell.
That's just a few little issues right there as well. Obviously Cryptic will sort out the most glaring issues next week, but the small issues won't get touched on, as per usual.
You sure you're looking at the right m'chla? The one from recruitment doesn't have spec seating, and is statwise a glorified T5 (as was shown in the blog).
There are different m'chla bops? *shakes head and shrugs*
Heh, Plot thickens. Guess i'll have to find out more.
There's the pilot m'chla (and its fleet variant)
https://sto.gamepedia.com/M%27Chla_Pilot_Bird-of-Prey
and the m'chla refit
https://sto.gamepedia.com/M%27Chla_Bird-of-Prey_Refit
You get the M'chla BoP Refit from recruitment.
I suspected because in game the refit is just called "[T6] Bird-of-Prey" but nothing in there confirmed it is. So it was just some confusion on the name. So that's another Cryptic error they can look into as well.
I had that problem too. In the ARC announcement it identifies it correctly as the M'Chla Refit Bird of Prey.
Hate melee anyway and since the only rewards for melee kills is a better buffed melee weapon I said to heck with that.
Not looking forward to that. Already had the slide show game play when I get to Torg's planet and had to fight the ships in space.
Same here, lots of invisible walls.
I've already got the T6 ship and don't need to unlock it on my other characters, especially if the requirement is to play this character up to level 50 as they all have access to other T6 ships and I've the coupon for a T5 plus a couple of those upgrade coupons to turn it into a T5-X version.
While I'm glad they're doing a special event, it would have been nice if you could have folded your existing Klingon into it, vice starting a new one. Especially since instead of a unique Disc set of missions like the Fed one gets, it's just the modified Klingon one.
Having finished the arc, I went and restarted / replayed the mission.
It restarted me back on Qo'Nos having to talk to all, then to the space battle and then the boarding. Once again I got the target is near prompt, no never saw him, so I cleared the crew deck and engineering. Went down to the lower part of engineering to get the nothings here prompt and went back to my ship.
Had a big Continue box so I went back in, ended up on the Engineering deck so I cleared it and went to the bridge and cleared it but didn't talk to Kathless. Went to the turboshaft and down to the crew deck where I found the target and killed him.
Then went back up to the bridge but Kathless had left so I went back to my ship again.
Well the big Continue box was again there so I went back in, cleared engineering, bridge, talked to Kathess this time and got a Return to Ship box, but I ignored it and went to the crew deck where I found the target again. Then went to my ship, but ....
the Continue prompt is still there so pretty much an endless loop so I dumped it all as I got what I came for.
Both times the target showed up in the left hand side crew room on the crew deck.
