What is the biggest zen Ship?
So my question is, what is the biggest zen ship you can get with zen?

A bud of mine wants a big tanky ship off the zen store, but the store doesn't really do well in displaying how big the ships are aside from the scale of the windows. He can't really get any other ships other than zen ships.

The Jem Hadar dreadnought and carrier are a fair size. Most of the Federation Command Cruisers are a fair size, as are the Scimitar variants, and Bortasqu variants. I believe the miracle worker dreadnaughts are also largish.

Nothing like the Universe Class. That thing is as wide as the screen.
Scimitars and Support Carriers are huge. The Jem'Hadar Carrier/Dread are pretty large (and the carrier can turn if you launch the attack ship).
If you are buying the Jem Dread, buy the Jem'Hadar starter pack for the race/faction unlock as well.

Well, big and tanky aren't necessarily the same thing... the largest ship in the game is the Universe class (a promo ship) but it's not the toughest and most survivable ship, just the largest.. and as stated, its not ZEN either.

The largest ZEN ship is probably the Scimitar variants. The toughest ship you can get for ZEN is probably the Hurq Vedcrid Dreadnought Carrier, though its not available for individual purchase, you can only get it through the Mudd Dreadnought bundle which you'd never want to buy except when it goes on massive sale (which it will a few times each year).
The Khopesh & Friends... The Herald Vonph-class Dreadnought Carrier is massive.. But it's a lockbox ship not a Zen ship..

As for a ship that might be best for lasting through an Armada of ships shooting it.. Maybe a Scott-class Operations Miracle Worker Cruiser being driven by an Engineer player..

Do remember to keep in mind though, the ship is a small part of how a ship Preforms.. It's the equipment, sets and the bonuses said sets give, traits, character class & its build in skill tree, the primary and secondary specialization... Etc etc that will make a ship stand out..
There are so, sooo many variables.. And it's never just one or three things, but a combination of many things that when used together in a player's build, can make even the most basic and overlooked ships in STO able to just destroy targets with ease..

As far as viewing ships to gauge their size etc.. There's a fellow on YouTube who does reviews on ships..
Timber Wolf is his YT Handle..
This is his YT channel..

Kopesh/Scimitar-line of ships are likely the largest from the C-Store. The Jem Hadar Vanguard and Romulan Support Carriers are probably close in size, but a very different playstyle.

For tanky zen ships, along the theme of a big 'battleship' playstyle, I'd probably suggest the Tactical Variants of the Command Battlecruisers(Presidio, Ty'gokor, Vastam).

They have access to Suppression Barrage 3(50% damage reduction to everything they hit) and are very resilient while also being able to dish out a lot of damage. They even come with a hangar for fighter support and the ships come at Fleet Grade(higher stats and an extra console) straight from the C-Store. Not sure which faction your friend prefers to fly; the Ty'gokor(KDF) is probably the smallest of the three(pretty sure the Negh'var is larger), the Presidio(Fed) and Vastam(Rom) are definitely on the 'large' side of ships in the game though. I've never had someone regret those ships as a recommendation after flying them.
For the Standard Zen ships that are on the large size and feel fairly tanky I really like the Bortasqu' variants myself. They are of Fleet quality stats and have an aggressive look. T6 Oddysey Variants are similar but less aggressive looking. T6 Scimtars are another option and is more aggressive looking.

Jem'Hadar Vanguard Dreadnought Cruiser is also a nice one but have to get tier 6 Ship Mastery on it through a Jem'hadar captain before you can use it on other factions. Also best to get the Gamma Vanguard Starter Pack for 2000 zen or less instead of buying the ship alone for the 3000 zen or wasting the 100% Discount coupons for it.

The Orion Blackguard is another Large and Tanky ship plus has the 5/3 weapon layout and 2 Hanger bays.

Catian Atrox and Vo'Quv were very tanky and large back when Tier 5 was the cap, not sure how their Tier 6 counter parts are But I would assume that they are still pretty tanky ships.

Haven't tried the Buran of Qoj Command Dreadnoughts yet but do have them unlocked for my account and the Qoj is a larger ship.

The Europa Heavy Battlecruiser felt pretty tanky but isn't that large. Same with the Kurak, feels kind of smaller for a KDF Battlecruiser after having played the Bortasqu'. Both were nice 5/3 weapon layout ships and felt pretty tanky but are on the smaller side scale wise compared to other similar ships.
