Space combat still bugged
Space combat weapon still bugged, I thought they fix it already.

Are there any way to fix this?

Thank you for calling Microsoft support, my name is (full 30 sec pause) Carl... What seems to be the problem?

Have you checked to make sure it is plugged in? have you checked to make sure it is on? Have you tried turn it off and then on?

Anywho, STO never suffers from game or game code"bugs".. Those are either, Unplanned new "Features" or unforeseen "Surprise Features", sometimes both...

Anywho Smurftastic funnies aside, could you be a bit less "vague" as to what is working as intended for everyone else but you? There be lots of different Weapon types that players can or can't use in STO...
Which one(s) aren't for you? And is it the weapon itself? or maybe game settings not set with the settings you are think are set and hence aren't "working" as you expect them "work"..

Inshort, "more" context and details on what you boggle is...

Yep its still broken for a ton of people & they didnt even mention it in the patch notes.

Already tried many types of space weapons, ranging from Disruptor to Phaser, they all still broken. At first the weapons works perfectly fine, until like 5 minutes in to game (sometimes less than 5 minutes) the weapon stop working, sometimes works but for 80% the weapons stop shooting, except experimental weapon and torpedo

Well, when you say "not working or stops work'in" (slap that :Quack_Quack_Boom: with a spacebar and make it get back out there and work) are you relying on them to be Autofiring for you? what are your settings set for when you change targets or have no target?

The only time I really right clicky on weapons for autofire is when facing Zergie Hur'q or those TFO's that seem to have found an amount of starships to attack you with during the TFO that would out number 2 or more of the main Beta/Alpha Quad factions in ships..
(those " Human Corporeal Wave Doctrine -In Space! " TFOs/Events)

Yeah its a mess at the moment, if you check the official reddit & forums its full of people having this issue.

Try switching targets. Also, weapon power drains and EW target weapon abilities seem to be hitting harder these days. Siphon frigates have become a pain

That's not the issue. The weapons literally stop firing COMPLETELY after 5 mins. Doesn't matter if you swap targets, smack the space button or perform a pagan ritual with a cucumber. The only way currently to fix it for another 5 mins is to die and respawn.

Yup, no matter you do, all energy weapons stop working, except experimental weapons.
Disable then able the auto-fire will not fix this bug at all. Changing load outs fix the issue until 5 minutes again (sometimes less, like 3 minutes) the bug appear again.

Respawn fix the issue but stop working again after 5 minutes, in my case 3 minutes after respawn.

I even use Aux to Batt still can't fire the energy weapons too.

Hopefully, some even can't play the game other than those Space Wizards and ground combat.
Maybe I'll just spend the day at DS9 playing Daboo.

Already rebind the shoot all weapon key from Spacebar to G key. It works fine until one from 5 slot weapons stop working. I use Kortar Raptor pilot class. Torp still working as usual but one of 4 other front slot weapons stop working.

At least a workaround for now.

Only fix I've seen my self is to change instance. Sucks cause I'm also going for a DPS build here and now suddenly most of my load out suddenly bugs out at times.

Kael has asked for some help about the Weapons "taking a break" at random "feature" to
copy a character and log in on the Tribble, and check to see if the werk'in as intended "feature" happens on the Tribble server..

I'm guessing their Beta QA Testers are all too busy to.... Oh wait they don't have anyone hired for testing STO.. So yeah, then Clearly the Devs are too busy to log in the Tribble Server and test it themselves with an character of theirs or created to find out if it's "Fixed"..
They are hiring QA Testers to find out, starting pay is $0.00 a hour.. The position's work hours are from 4am until 7pm, with free bowl of Gruel during your 15 minute lunch break (Replicated of course).. Dinner bowls of grual will cost 150 Zen each, or you could buy dinner key and use to open a mystery dinner box with some random item that is editable (Guaranteed) :rbiggrin: ...

We've received other reports of this same issue. It is a known issue and the developers are currently investigating.

Unfortunately Customer Service is unable to resolve the issue directly so we will need to wait for the fix to come from the development team.

We are currently unaware of an ETA for a potential fix.
