For Pew Pew Big Bada Boom players (mainly Tactical players)... the Astika Heavy Battlecruiser will give you the Supremacy trait.. that a nice one that helps keep Sub power levels up while blasting away at targets (being able to not have Weapon power drop under 100 during combat means you will always be doing full weapon damage (not counting distance drop off)
If your build is focused on using Beam Overload, the the Xindi-Primate Ateleth-class Dreadnought Cruiser's trait of Superweapon Ingenuity add 5 secs of BO's up time..
The NX-Escort Refit gives the starship trait Preferential Targeting.. not a key trait in a build but it does boost BO/CRF by 100% for 30 secs if FaW/CSV is used beforehand... It also has one of the 4 Consoles for the Synergistic Retrofitting set.. which of set having a Dynamic Power Redistributor Module is godsend, and add a 2nd console for a 2 set is VERY worth it.. and the NX's console or the Secondary Shield are the two you'd want to pick as your 2nd in the set.. (My Fed alt got this ship, where my KDF's got goodies from the X-Faction bundle backwhen)..
The Herald Baltim is one of the hardest hitting Raider class ships.. it's the most nimble and very zippy and zaggie.. Slap a Prevailing impulse engine in that little thing, and it will spin circles around targets at Plaid Speed (and nuke with its 5 forward weapon slots)..
The Husnock Warship is beastie, and if you were to follow the rabbit down the wormhole the Privateer Weapon Modifications console set with unique build centered around it, can be a Nuking Epic DPS output monster (200k+ damage melting shots with CRF) it's like the OP Epic CRF Scimitar build..
The Kelvin Vengeance Intel Dreadnought Cruiser is great for both driving (if you are Tactical and your playstyle is that which this ship is a match for using either DHCs or DBB with Arrays/Omni) all my Mains have this ship, with my Fed alt Driving it, and my KDF Recruit is always bouncing back between this ship and the T6-X Fleet Mogh using a S-Linked Disruptor DHC build.. It has a unique bridge but no interior beyond that... It has the lovely Starship Trait Target Rich Environment which boosts your directed damage of your weapons by +1% each hit you land when using FaW or CSV with a 30 stack cap (+30% more damage)
That being said, never spend lobi on those ships. You can obtain most of them for 300-400 mil on the exchange. Lobi is better spent on consoles / gear.
As for which one.. it's incredibly subjective on your playstyle and what you want.
In terms of raw deadliness:
=Maquis Raider=
-The deadliest gunship in the game. Capable of running up to 7 tac consoles(T6x), with Miracle Worker powers to fully min-max energy weapons to their maximum potential. Also has Improved Raider Flanking for an extra 40% damage while flanking. Comes with a fantastic console and a meh trait.
=Hurq Nekcrid/Multi-Mission Science Vessel=
-One of the Deadliest Torpedo Boats in the game. With it's Command seating, torpedo-less fighter pets and 4 forward weapon slots, this ship can bring a lot of pain while also speccing heavily in to exotic damage as a science vessel for even more devastation. Trait is decent carrier filler; console is meh.
If you want a 'tanky dps':
=Kelvin Vengence/Intel Dreadnought=
-Not the king it used to be, it's still a very respectable pew-pew ship with an imposing presence. Comes with a hangar for fighter support and a 'fun' console if you're running phasers. Trait is solid for energy weapon builds.
=Sona Intel Battlecruiser=
-Giant Flying Batwing of doom. Similar to the Kelvin Dread, but trades the hangar for more agility a little more exotic damage potential. Its trait is devastating for torpedo builds; console can do some good damage if specced towards exotic damage(but is restricted to Son'a vessels).
