Extracting models to Source Filmmaker- ideas?
This game has some great models, and I know there are some already on the Source filmmaker workshop. Is there any applications that are good for extracting models and textures of characters that I could use to import the said things into blender then rig them for SFM?

Note that I do not intend to make money off anything and Cryptic seems to be fine with the models on the workshop considering they have not done anything about copyrights.

I think you mean Extracting = "Ripping"

For Ripping source models you're gonna want to use something like Ninja Ripper

As for the legality even if you have no monetization goals or intent i can't speak to.. You would be dealing with both PWE and CBS depending on what/how you use their content...

The only issue is that I already tried Ninja Ripper and it didn't work as intended. The extracted textures go on the models wrong.
