Also shows your system's resource usage and current temps in real time..
It will also show you detailed info about your system's OS.. From what SP it is, the different .NET frameworks are installed, to the date and the time the OS was installed..
Umm he(she) said they are using an Alienware rig... as those systems are purely marketed as gaming systems, the OS loaded on it wouldn't be 32bit OS...
32bit OS's are common for work office systems..
i'm the one in the black t shirt...the lady in the red is chase masterson... it is an convention picture i had taken in Cherry Hill, New Jersey the year that Star Trek was celebrating its 50th anniversary
Umm.. If you say so... No idea how that has anything to do with OP's PC and OS he(she) is using, or to my comment regarding the OS's that ship stock on Alienware Desktop/Laptops (they are always 64bit).. But he(she) could have the OS WinXP, Win7 Win8 or Win10 running on it..

And yes I have tried running via "run as Administrator" The launcher updater did come up, downloaded/updated... brings up the "launcher" window and stuck on "logging in, please wait: and do not get the sign in part.
And I have already tried to uninstall and install a new copy but still unable to get to the "log in" part of the launcher window
You need more info so do the following. >
- At the comand line, type " dxdiag " and run the dxdiag tool to check your DirectX version and function. You might need to get a DirectX install file from Microsoft website. There is a DXSETUP.exe in _CommonRedist folder inside of the STO folder. Make sure you have DXv11 installed.
- Force the use of Direct3D X11 in the STO launcher by entering in the Command Line of the launcher Options, type " -d3d11 "
- Running STO with Direct3D X12 is causing problems with many users. Try it but change to DX11 or DX10 when you have any trouble. " -d3d10 "
- Go to the directory you have Star Trek Online installed in your computer.
Go to Star Trek Online.exe and make a shortcut.
Go to the properties of the Star Trek Online shortcut and add at the end of target the following:
-console
Afterwards, start up Star Trek Online using the shortcut. A command prompt console should come up that will bring up some very valuable information about the issue.
- Look in the Star Trek Online directory, there are individual log files that are produced each time there is any error during game run and stored there in the top > ERRORS_year-month-day_time.txt, PACKET_year-month-day_time.txt, pct_year-month-day_time.txt (patching?), debug.txt
- Make sure all the game's exes are in your PC's Firewall exceptions. and Make sure your anti-malware program active defenses is not interferring with the STO game files. Particularly the file in STO directory. Gameclient.exe
- UnCheck On-Demand Patching.
- Pull down menu for Patching Proxy. Try US.
- Use Safe Mode in the STO launcher Options.
- Use Force Verify in the STO launcher Options.
- Pull down menu of Gameplay Proxy. Try None
- Make sure you are running the game on an account with administrator rights.

The networking traces look ok to me.
We can rule out that you are on a Mac, Linux, 32bit OS.
I can deduce you are on Verizon on the East Coast.
I have checked my Email and no Ban notification was found or any email form arc/cryptic/steam... and since I cannot get to the login screen, they have no idea who is loggin in at this point.
I am a free to play player on both STO and Neverwinter (both are having the same issue).
Dxdiag says it's all good to go.. (running DirectX 12) the driver was last updated 8/23/19 and have been playing both games since then. So trying to change my Directx make no since since it was working until two days ago..
I have already checked my firewall exceptions and see both games listed
Have tried launching via Direct shortcut (w/adminrights), through steam, through Arc)
adding -d3d10 and -d3d11 (two seperate tries) in the shortcut properties offered no change to the issue

Since this is now a new install, there is no "patching" loges and while I can see the "options" option inbetween "account Guard" and "release Notes" in the launcher window, clicking on it does nothing.. however clicking on "news", "Forums", "support", Account
Guard", and Release Notes" will bring up the associated web pages.
Install DirectX 11, then use the Force the use of Direct3D X11 in the STO launcher by entering in the Command Line of the launcher Options, type " -d3d11 ".
Make sure the Launcher exe is in the Firewall and anti-malware exceptions. = star trek online.exe Also have crypticError.exe
If you cannot use the Options on the Launcher and the Login screen does not come up then something is corrupted with the launcher.
You might need to uninstall STO completely and reinstall, make sure you Delete the leftover STO folder after running the uninstaller. You could try from steam again but i suggest you get the standalone install file from the cryptic website.
- Uninstall and Reload the game as the last resort, and load from the Standalone link at here. >
