Enhanced Battle Cloak or Cloaked Barrage

I'm looking at getting a new Romulan ship and I'm debating between the T6 Malem Light Warbird with the Enhanced Battle Cloak and Plasma Warhead Console and the T5 Scimitar set with the Cloaked Barrage Console and Thalaron Pulse.

Which do you guys think would be most fun with good survivability?

Large ships are usually more Durable.. and the Scimitar t5 set is fun yea... but if you like projectiles then the t6 ship wins.

Fair warning, Thalaron Pulse, while cool on paper, is absolutely useless....really long charge up and and it locks you immobile/defenseless while doing so. Also requires the entire console set eating valuable real estate.

Cloaked Barrage however is decent if you play cloak style that is.

Does the Scimitar only fire beams and cannons with the cloaked barrage or can it also fire torps and mines?

Ah, thanks for the warning. So in that case I'd probably forgo the whole set and just get the tactical dreadnought.

Think it's only energy weapons, but don't remember...but the set is interesting in the whole run if you're going with scimitar.. also Enhanced cloak is perma torp fire under cloak, scimi is only while active for a limited time till cd for firing.

Interesting. Do you remember how long the cool down is?

Any idea if the Plasma Warhead Console can be used while cloaked with the Enhanced Battle Cloak?
