full controller support?
its tagged as FCS but all i seem to be able to do is walk

Hmm... That's not really correct. I wonder who added that. It is possible to play STO with a controller, but you'll have to bind everything yourself. It's not recommended due to the many abilities you can have at endgame.

it works ok for the ps4 ...but i get more pc time because i dont have to fight my wife over the tv


i would use kb/ mouse but i came out of my time in the army a little battered and it gets kinda painfull after a while

PS4 and Xbox have very different UIs than the PC version. Console STO is built for controllers, PC is built for KB and mouse.

Being said, you can use a controller, you just won't be as good as a KB/mouse PC player.
