free t6 token vs 1000 lobi

I have a question about the rewards for the yearlong event. The rewards being 1000 lobi or a t6 token and 200 lobi.

where does the free t6 ship apply? is it only to ships that can be purchased through the ship vendors on a space station?

And would it maybe be a better choice to get the crystals and wait for a lobi discount? There's a 20% off discount right now, but I think there was a 50% off a while ago?

personally id always go for the t6 voucher for the cstore as you can use the ships on all toons where as the lobi ship is a 1 time deal, however if like me you have many cstore ships and you just want the extra cash buying a lobi ship then selling on exchange isnt a bad option

To be honest I would go for Lobi since its basically worth more of your time. For Lobi the only time where you can get them is from Loot Boxes while the C-Store ship can be get after you grind long enough or when a sale happened. The Lobi is worth more in terms of value imo thanks to that, but that's just me and my great lust for the Vengeance-class talking lol

I'll echo that sentiment, although I got the Tholian Iktomi for its trait and as a ship to fly myself (my main is sci).

I got the Jem'hadar carrier and 5 (20% discount!!) staffs for my toons. Pretty happy with a free t6 and 200 lobi.

Highly depends on how many high tier ships you already have. If not many, C-Store ships are better value as they are account wide. If you already have many, then Lobi might be a better option to get something very specific from Lobi store.
