Pre-Order Chromodynamic Body Armor

I have not found any solution to be able to have the amazing body armor's visuals show externally through the uniform NPC without the lvl2 body armor being worn.
Does anyone know how?

IIRC there's no costume unlock for the Chromodynamic armor. According to the wiki it drops at Mark 2 but otherwise can be upgraded to mk XII for free (much like a mark infinity item).

a while back I read that there was a way to unlock it costume wise, but the process yielded nothing sadly

If there was a way to unlock it as a tailor option it'd presumably be on the wiki.
