Unlocking The TOS Constitution-Class?

The Original Series Constitution-Class is by far my favourite ship in the game, but the TOS skin has to be unlocked. When I googled how to unlock it, I got no results. Please help your fellow captain.

So, you’re going to have to go to the Shipyard and go to the NPC you get new ships from. The TOS Connie should be in there.

There are as of now 3 different TOS constitution ships in the game, a T1 version available from the ship vendor, a T6 version from the infinity lockbox and a Legendary T6 version from the Legendary Ship bundle (currently unavailable).

Owning one of these ships should unlock their skin for all other constitution ships on the same character.

You can look the ships up on the STO Wiki[sto.gamepedia.com].

Skins can only be applied to specific sets of ships - they aren't universal. TOS constitution skins will only be available to apply to versions of the TOS constitution... not other ships.. not even other types of the constitution class (such as the kelvin timeline or discovery era constitutions).

There is an easy to obtain tier 1 version of the TOS constitution, but the others are terribly expensive being (as people have mentioned) either a promo box ship or part of the $200 USD legendary ship pack that isn't available at the moment.

You can't buy the TOS pack anymore? I bought it a while back because of the scalable phaser banks and it came with a TOS Constitution.

The T1 ship is weak for sure... the T6 versions are quite strong ships, especially the legendary version (the one from the legendary bundles, not the promo box version).

https://stowiki.net/wiki/Constitution_Light_Cruiser T1 ship, cheap but not powerful.
https://stowiki.net/wiki/Constitution_Temporal_Light_Cruiser T6 lockbox ship, very expensive.
https://stowiki.net/wiki/Legendary_Constitution_Miracle_Worker_Light_Cruiser T6 bundle ship, most expensive but most powerful.
Visit any one of those pages and look at the 'constitution-class cruiser variants' sidebar for similar ships.
The devs and the IP-owners have made this ship rather rare in the end-game.

it should be noted that the T1 version is now (since 2020) sold for dilithium, and is a single purchase only, not account unlock, as with all T1-T4 ships... if bought that way.

HOWEVER, the TOS bundle that includes it, is still available, and if bought that way, it's still regarded as a zen purchase and therefore account unlock.

*also the 10th Anniversary bundle, which includes the T6 Legendary version, is on sale this weekend.*

.... seriously?.... how about THINKING and SEARCHING ingame?... the TOS Constitution is a premium ship and was this way basicaly since near Release...

That said... you do know Fed captains get the Consti Refit wich is good enogh? And dont you dare claim " i like them old nacells and deflector better " .... you would be at the very least 70 years old by now to even consider that.

Also its mere 1000 Zen or even less given its worthless by now. There is a bundle with the T6 variant and all (where you can use all the consti designs) but i wouldnt recomend giving them dev's money for that. And i am one of those WANTING the BOX FLAGSHIP as a T6 PREM for YEARS now. The Excalibur is the BEST that STO did especiel early on. She looks the part of a constitution but also knew, fresh and advanced.

1) This post is from 2020, and the most recent post is from like 2 months ago, their question was also already answered.
2) The ship is a infinity lockbox ship if you are looking for the T6 version, and it's not like there is an in game guide on how to get it. Googling it would have likely gotten the answer faster than asking here, but advising someone to search in game is silly.
3) Who are you to tell someone what aesthetics they should like? Heck, maybe they are 60 or 70 too. STO draws plenty of older players.

the skin does not need to be unlocked. though the bridge costs zen. if you want a the original series constitution class, you can get that easily on level 10 but, if you also want the bridge, then you need to pay zen for that.
