Can't Equip Helmets and Hats Head Type?

Whenever I try to equip the Helmets and Hats head type to use a hat, it just instantly goes back to humanoid. Any idea why this is?

Are you saying you have an Alien head or custom head, and when you try putting on a Hat, it switches the head to humanoid.

I have Humanoid and when I try to switch to the Hat head type it just resets to Humanoid. It won't let me wear hats.

What do you mean? Like where I would choose the specific hat? Unfortunately that selection doesn't appear, it just stays the exact same as it was before.

I tested some races in the character creator on an account that i have the The Emancipator hat. They worked with hats. Under head advanced , pulled down Catagory and found the hat. Or you can find the mini hat under Head Covering.

I do own a few, mostly the Bajoran hoods.

I tried the exact same thing I've been doing like 8 times, and on the 8th time it randomly stopped doing the glitch. I guess it's a bug I somehow fixed by just trying it again for like half an hour.

try equipping it with the tailor default instead of costume custom. Somtimes that works.
