Yeah I felt you needed just a short summary of what he said. Lol. It's super grindy if you don't put in money, but there's definitely no huge pay walls that keep you from advancing or enjoying the game.

the rest u can get via gameplay
In the rare few instances I have had to contact Support, they have been very helpful. You have to keep in mind the Star Trek, like any MMO, the level of support you receive is relative to how much money you spend. If you are strictly free to play, yeah, don't expect miracles. But if you are a subscriber, or someone who is a Lifetime subscriber, then you usually will get help in a timely fashion.
I would reccomend that you either become a subscriber, or a Lifetime member, before you run your mouth.
It took me a week to get to the top of the food chain, and I got some cool stuff along the way. You don't have to use the premium currency at all to get what you need, what you want however might cost you.
You haven't seen the level of support a subscriber of Lifetime member are granted.
It does exist. With any company. It's like if you get pulled over and have a thin blue line sticker. You'll always get preference because moderators and admins can see what type of account you have when you submit it. People who spend hundreds of dollars on this game will most definitely get more support than people who just leech by grinding.
I'm not a LTS, but I've spent more than enough to put myself in that tier, which is why whenever I have support tickets, they'll get back to me within 24 hours.
Why care about the opinions of the homeless person behind your resturant about your food, when the people actually paying for it are inside? You're the homeless person Nem. I'm the patron that got a reserved table.
