Promotion: Centurion

Hi, Just starting out. I'm on the promotion quest but cannot find New Roumulus. I was given the opportunity to warp there but wanted to wait a bit and now I can't find NR. I'm in the Azure sector but NR does not show up on the map here. Can anybody help me?

if you have the mission active on the right you can press the autonav button next to it

New Romulus is also known as Tau Dewa III, and is found in the Tau Dewa Sector. Trouble is, you can't go there until the mission to look for a new home planet is complete (as this is how you find New Romulus). Pain in the butt, I know, but this happens sometimes when you are able to level faster than the missions intended level. Just keep playing your missions until you get this far and the rest should fall into place.

Thanks for the replies. There is no autonav next to the centurion quest. I'll keep doing the other ones and see if it changes.

I just ran into this myself. Current story mission is "Turning Point" which is too soon I guess? Kinda funny how I'm bumping into New Romulus, the range says I'm 0.04LY at closest approach... which is 10x the orbital radius of Pluto but I'm close enough to bump my nose into the atmosphere.

Same problem with a quest telling me to go to "Drozana Station" all the way over in Alpha quadrant. I'm bumping into it, but can't dock nor beam over.

you can get the new ship from the flotilla. you do not have to go to new romulus for it.

i have a similar issue when the promotion in a KDF rank happens and i'm expected, i choose to wave it off for the moment and by the time i get back, i should talk to J'mpok and it doesn't say that, it also doesn't say if i should go to the shipyard either, it just says i should return to Qo'Nos.

Because i use t6 ships that auto levels with you and some stuff also auto levels, you don't need to head back, you can keep waving it off until the next promotion and the old one is removed and the new takes over until the next promotion. so i don't have much concern about it, but i know from before getting an LTS that you need to use the rank token at the shipyard and need to improve your kit to get anywhere, so it could be an issue for one who doesn't have access to such a tier 6 ship.

You need to finish the Romulan episodes up to "Turning Point" before you do ANYTHING else. It used to be impossible to do anything else (back before they changed the map), and the storyline episodes are still locked up like that. It has to do with how your character's faction is coded.
