Anyone know where I can get a "Dralck" DOff?

I just got my cannon crafting to level 15, but low and behold, I can't craft the arc cannons until I get a special DOff which 90% which have the correct skill are fleet-bought.

Dralck is the ONLY Fed DOff with the R&D: Cannon Weapons skill that doesn't come in a prize pack or has to be bought at a fleet vendor.

The only DOff that has this skill that can be bought on the Exchange is a legendary that is currently running for 35mil EC.

hes from a duty officer pack but i cant remember which one i bought all mine its easier and cheaper than grinding packs to get him

I'm running into that problem, too. I'll get there eventually, but it's annoying how much of the game is locked up behind the dilitium refinement grindwall.

You can get a common cannon r&d doff running the request r&d help from the personnel officer at academy

Try the exchange. if he is on there he may be expensive but there may be other doffs that have a similar skill

I hope your right but I don't see one listed on the wiki save for one for the KDF.

There are loads of R&D Cannon capable Doffs on the exchange. Dralck is from the Delta Alliance Duty Officer Pack. If you don't want to use the packs you can do the Request R & D assistance mission at Academy at the cost of 1,000 dilithium and no guarantee of a useful officer.

Okay... so I got lucky. Someone put "Tutrouzi" on the exchange for 3 mil EC... it hurt cause im down to 11 mil, but at least I have one now. ^-^

I could not find many other duty officers on the exchange with R&D Cannons, but they may have been random and I would never have been able to find them.

It's not easy since the Exchange won't tell you if they have an R&D specialization. I did see another Krenim who cost 6.5 mil, though.

I checked a fan site that claimed to catalog duty officers but when I bought one on the Exchange from the list for 100k, they turned out not to have the specialization.

R&D officers are essentially Ocampian, Talaxian, Kazon, Malon, Benthan, Hierarchy, Kobali

Ok so the R&D Cannon can be found on either an Energy Weapons Specialist or a Fabrication Engineer. The Technicians for Beam weapon specialists end up high priced because of the people buying the A2B ones. If you price an R&D one that high it does not sell. If you right-click them on the exchange it tells you if they have R&D specialism.
