Can't commission new bridge officers
I have a tatical, 1 science, and 2 engineering bridge officer spots. The engineering spot is available. I go to the button at the bottom of U under stations and commission my Vulcan engineering officer. But she says there is no room on the U.S.S. Harbinger (my starship) there is room, am I missing something. If it helps I am a Lieutenant Commander LVL 16

I think you misunderstand... the number of slots on your ship is not the same as your roster. Press U and look at the left hand side of the box that pops up (the column showing your captain, ship and crew). You must have a free bridge officer slot (and more unlock as you level up) in order to commission an officer. You can get rid of an existing officer to make room, if you want to. Hope this helps

I think you misunderstand in my station tab under the U key there are two sections. One is starship stations and one is away team. Under starships stations I have Coraline Fletcher, Tamav, and Ian Keon and one empty slot that says none.

Yeah - I think we're being confusing/misunderstood. The bridge officers on the column drowrulesupreme (and I) are talking about lists all your currently active bridge officers (your commissioned bridge officers). If that column only lists one Engineering bridge officer, you can only have 1 Engineering officer on your ship, irrelevant of what the stations tab says, because you only have 1 Engineering officer to fill that station.

You must Discharge one of your currently-commissioned Bridge Officers in order to commission a second Engineer for your second Engineering station.

Basically if I have two Tactical bridge officers, one Science bridge officer, and one Engineering bridge officer, in order to fit on your ship I'd need to discharge one of my Tactical officers and commission an Engineering one in its place.

You have a limited amount of Bridge Officer Slots. If you have a spare slot you'll see a gray box with "no officer" in it in your list of active bridge officers under your ship and shuttle name in the screen you use to change the bridge officers in your stations.

If all your slots are full then you'll have to delete one of your currently-commissioned bridge officers in order to free up a slot and commission the engineering officer you want.

That does not help I said ONE OF THE SLOTS HAS NO ONE IN IT AND SAYS NO OFFICER AI have 4 slots for bridge officer 3 of them are filled and ones empty for an engineering bridge officer hence why I am trying to commission and engineering bridge officer

If you have a Bridge Officer in you inventory that it won't let you claim, check your candidate roster isn't full. If you make room in your candidate roster you can add one from your inventory to it and them make them active if you have an available Bridge Officer slot.
