DOFF's - you accumulate up to 100 crewmen (more for a price) whom you send on missions to generate resources - unrefined dil, energy credits, GPL, raw materials of all sorts, additional crewmen, etc.
Admiralty system - same as DOFF system, but using all of the ships you have accumulated. There are also single & multi-use ship cards to add to your personal fleet.
The endeavors can be quite lucrative - go here, do this type stuff. Defeat so many captains of a certain faction, do so much damage of a given type, participate in a certain Task Force Operation (TFO). TFO's are PvE coop missions.
All of the 'Reputations' relate to a season of story content and have their own currencies and equipment sets that can be acquired.
Also, equipment can now be upgraded to MK XV.
Just to start ...
-Event system has been overhauled to account-wide progress(you're not forced to use the same character every day)
-There have been two meta-events that reward T6 ship vouchers(100% discount) for participating in every(3) event for them.
-There is a new market section, Mudd's Market. Pricing is a pretty bad joke; it has items that are rare/no longer available otherwise(real life promotions, etc.).
-Phasers are currently the favored damage type, but you can still use whatever you want.
-The (fleet) Gagarin/Qugh are the current poster children for the tanky-dps playstyle(battlecruisers capable of sloting 5 tac consoles).
-Lots of new gamble-box powercreep in the form of traits, consoles, etc. It's still mostly a luxury and not required.
-TFOs/Group Queues and (some) patrols have been retooled and use a slightly different UI
Still as potent as I remember?
Gonna have to get another box for command version
I forget its name but I also have the Elachi ship that gives the wave cannon module, so I have 2/3 of the special console set for those ships, and the advanced elachi shuttles.
My build is also heavy beam focus, anti-matter dual beams n such
Also, if you want to take a look at a few high DPS builds, there are two youtubers I recommend.
Augmented Dictator Games does some very high level DPS build videos. His recent torpedo/mine layer builds parse above 400k.
Timber Wolf does also do high level DPS build videos. But his builds are more varied with budget, experimental and odd builds.
Aperantly I have a T6 tactical escort and a T6 Mirror guardian cruiser that I almost forgot about.
And a few T5U’s like the Elachii S’Gloth
Sheshar is still pretty good, but it's no longer the Top Dog that it used to be.
Meta is still mostly Aux2Bat with Kemocite Laced Weaponry; but there's a deep rabbit hole of power creep you can fall into with various traits and consoles.
1.) Lift the EC cap
2.) Increase your DOFF complement by 100
3.) Eventually, you will need to buy additional ship slots, or drydock slots. There are now multiple events that offer a quality ship every year.
