Single player episodes
Just started playing STO and have to say i've enjoyed it so far. Is gameplay mostly single player episodes? I haven't minded that so far, (most mmo's like swtor have already gone to mostly soloable content) but how long do the story/content last?

What is left to do after completing those?

There's around 120 to 130 episodes intended for single players, with the early ones tending to be shorter in completion time. Also, each faction has some unique episodes, with the Klingons getting 16 and the Romulans getting 25. I forget the breakdown for the 2 Starfleet factions, but I'm pretty sure it's fewer than those totals. Finally, there's about 50 group PVE missions, but most of them have trouble filling up if they're not connected to an event or endeavor, so you may have trouble seeing them all. Oh, and 7 battlezones, which are pretty much the only traditional MMO content in the game where you can wander into a zone and bump into other players in the middle of a mission without teaming in advance.

Endgame is the same as most other MMOs: repeat the same high reward content and grind. There's no required grinding prior to that though. The solo content and regular difficulty PVEs are pretty easy once you get the hang of the game.
