Experimental Weapon: Question?

Does Experimental Weapons follow the same mechanics as regular energy weapons? Or are they unaffected like launchers? I could not find any info on this...

It depends on the weapon. Some aren't even energy weapons. The damage of the standard electricity weapon that everyone gets for free is increased by ship weapon power levels though, yeah.

Damn... thanks, I wish there was a clear consise list on what Experimental Weapons ARE power dependant.

If you hover over it in your tray, it should show that is has -10 to weapons when firing (like normal weapons).

Providing that there are not any bugs affecting the weapons-now or at a later stage-thats the current list,including damage types etc.
