when you get in game hit me up i will invite you to my Fleet and help you out on what ever you need and stuff @MatthewASpencer
If you are in any instance mission and think you have a Bug stopping you from completing that mission, try the following tips:
1. Read the mission details and the tasker for directions and important information that you might be missing. Check the STO forum and wiki and google for a walkthrough of that mission to determine if you are not doing the mission correctly.
2. Beam out of mission, then continue the mission at the place you come back to.
3. Beam out of mission, Drop that mission, pick that mission and try again.
4. Beam out of the mission, log off of STO then log back into STO, then continue that mission. Maybe also try rebooting computer and router at this point.
5. Beam out of mission, Skip that mission if it is in a chain. Check the bug forum and google for a workaround or if it is known bug. Report the problem in a bug report? Try that mission again in a month or two.

Hey! Its not Cryptics fault the stupid npc was standing to close to the camera.
Considering how old this bug is and the fact it's still present, Perfect World / Arc must be heavily understaffed to maintain the game properly.
That mission is probably one of the buggiest in the entire game. If somebody makes it through that without encountering at least one of the "you moved wrong, so it's glitched" bugs, they should really make haste to buy a lottery ticket before that insane luck wears off.
Damn, you must be moving slowly. Both McCoy glitching out and the subsequent 'can't interact with the induction coil' bug basically happen from just going about your business like you're not falling asleep on your feet.
Best way to avoid the glitches I found is to stand there for a minute or two when you reach the room with McCoy, possibly stunned by 23rd century body odor, and just standing there for another minute or two after he tells you to follow him, probably to avoid being distracted by that 23rd century body odor.
Okay, maybe it's not actually 23rd century body odor, just trigger coding that really stinks...
Certain high-yield torpdedo buffs when activated will not fire and go into cooldown if you aren't facing your target. High-yield plasmas are a prime offender, as seem many other targetable torpedoes.
The Solanae guardian robots are literally missing their entire bodies except the tail cords.
The Klingon K't'inga Battlecruiser has its low detail and high detail model swapped, resulting in the ship not having any glows at close range.
seriously o.0 im not to sure about this 1 , him lucky im using concentrate firepower instead,....or it help u guy with your cd,or it might be the cause of this problem o.0
One of them. The other is you leave the room too early when he asks you to follow, the coil doesn't become interactible. So alwways follow him at a distance as though he smells like a wet targ.
